Question:

I had a cardiac stent placed 12 years ago. I do not have any recurrence or complications until today. Can I be covered under the visitor health Insurance for any acute emergencies and hospitalization? Will it be covered under acute onset of pre-existing condition?

Answer:

If anything, symptoms or otherwise, have already begun, and you do not have an active policy, there are no insurances on the market that will cover the medical treatment for that illness or injury even under the Acute Onset of Pre-Existing Condition exception.
